Most important parts of a sales page

Copywriting is an art form all of its own within marketing.
There are many professionals who make large incomes from
purely on copywriting and doing nothing else. Big name
marketers will pay serious money for a copywriter who has
a proven track record of pulling in sales. The performance
of sales copy has nearly as many statistics as the NFL,
and no part of a sales letter has been analyzed more than
the headline. Top class copywriters will usually produce
many different headlines, select one which they believe
will perform best, and then test the others against it.
Often, even the most experienced copywriters are surprised
by the results, and the winning headline will become a new
control in further testing.
As well as the main headline, sub headlines are critical.
Often a busy reader will just skim a sales letter, and not
really read it in great detail. The sub headlines basically
need to convey the message of the entire letter, only in an
abbreviated form. Read a sales letter's sub headlines
without looking at the text in between, and see if you
receive the full meaning of the letter just from that.
If not, the sub headlines probably need working on.
Bullet points are another crucial part of a sales letter,
and they need to be short, sharp and to the point. They
also need to emphasize benefits to the reader, and not
features of the product alone. Potential buyers are
interested in how the product can improve their life,
what end benefits the product will deliver to them.
Nowhere is this concept more important than in the short,
dynamic bullet point that play such a key role in creating
excitement within the reader.
The end of a sales letter is also of great importance
because it is here that the sale is made. The letter
must have a top quality call to action to entice the
reader to part with his money. A good PS has also been
proven to increase response rates, if it is an effective
summary of the key benefits of the product.

Golden Rules For Your List

When you have an opt-in list, you should not just send
your promotional newsletters to them and expect them to
buy! Now that you have people on your list and you've
worked hard to get them there, don't blow it by sending
them out so much promotional material that they simply
unsubscribe!
Even thought people have opted in to your list, this does
not give you a right to send them emails promoting,
promoting and promoting every day. Remember your list
can be your golden money earner - treat it like that,
respect your list and they will help you profit!
It's also important to ensure that every email you send
out has an unsubscribe link attached to every email.
This allows people to unsubscribe quickly and easily -
make sure it is easy. I have been on too many lists,
that ask you to click on a link, sign into a website
with your username and password, and then jump through
more loops to unsubscribe! Make it easy not difficult
to get off the list!
It's important to use a reliable autoresponder service
for the following reasons:
Double opt in procedures. This makes sure that when a
person signs up they must confirm their subscription -
this goes some way to prove that it was them or a person
with access to their email account that signed up. Many
autoresponder services and programs will also keep a copy
of the IP address (a unique address) that was used to
sign up for the email list.
Bounce Features. A good service will automatically take
not of any emails that bounce. That is any emails that
don't arrive at the address they were meant to go to. If
this happens the software will automatically remove the
email address from your list.
Automatic Unsubscribe. As mentioned above you can opt
to have an automatic unsubscribe link added to your
messages - this is very advisable.
On a side note, when sending out emails ensure they are
well written, with appropriate subject lines. Some
marketers put in inappropriate subject links like "you've
been paid" or, $100 waiting to be claimed - don't do this.
If and when the person opens the emails, it just causes
them to be annoyed and they may feel like they have been
fooled by you

Sending Emails That Get Read In Ten Easy Steps

Emails are more than who, what, when, where, and
why. But if they are not read what's the purpose.
The average business man has 15 emails they
routinely read on a daily basis. How can you
make your one of those 15, buy following some
simple lessons.
1.You need a catchy personalized subject line that
refers to a product or a service. Include a date
or many of the spam blockers will discard it. Then
all your work is lost.
2. Never use capitals, multiple exclamation points.
Don't illustrate with slashes, dots or dashes.
3. No more than six lines or wider than 65 characters.
Especially on your introductory email.
4. Know exactly what you want to accomplish. Is it
going to qualify leads? Or generate further leads?.
5. To make a highly effective email, it should indicate
a new product, service, premium or specially discounted
price. Offers that stimulate a response.
6. Did you think about the type of person receiving the
email? People for ages have been trying to figure out
people and their personalities in an easy and concise
manner, My friend Michael Dlouhy has done personality
colors. This is fully explained in a few other articles. .
For example a yellow personality is a nurturer, who wants
emails that ask about their family before business. Company
information in "flowery" words. The green personality you
always email them first. It should be at least four long
pages of all company information. Needs to be grammatically
and spelled correctly The red personality has their name
in all capitals, it's to the point, with no feeling. The
blue personality will have two short pages loaded with
company information, including a P.S. and PP.S .
7. Keep track of your customer's personal information and
questions. The FAQ's are put on the FAQ page. Please
respond to your customer's concerns quickly and personally.
This creates goodwill, even if their angry, admit your
mistake. Ask them how you can fix it. You are building
loyalty in customers. The more information you collect now,
the better you will serve them in the future.
8. Always put contact information in the email, in an easy
place to find on every email you send out. The same goes
for your website, contact information is your lifeblood.
This is where your customer service page becomes important
to add those FAQ, names, emails, phone numbers of people
who can help. You need to build loyalty.
9. Use emails for sending greetings of birthdays,
anniversaries, and/or other special occasions. Thank
you messages for their business.
10. You can make this a campaign of sending prewritten,
non-personal emails, the customer will see right through
that. Think about what you want on your busy day. How
often do you want to be interrupted by a stranger, verses
someone who is starting to deserve your trust or already
has it
Email is a great tool but don't abuse them. Remember
email is one of the tools to build trust. You have to
have trust before you have sales.
What do you think, how many emails from the same known
person would be considered annoying? How many emails
actually get read by you, from an unknown source? Does
it have a catchy subject line? You be the judge, your
decision can make or break the beginning of a business
relationship.

Golden Rules For Your List

When you have an opt-in list, you should not just
send your promotional newsletters to them and expect
them to buy! Now that you have people on your list and
you've worked hard to get them there, don't blow it by
sending them out so much promotional material that they
simply unsubscribe!
Even thought people have opted in to your list, this
does not give you a right to send them emails promoting,
promoting and promoting every day. Remember your list
can be your golden money earner - treat it like that,
respect your list and they will help you profit!
It's also important to ensure that every email you send
out has an unsubscribe link attached to every email.
This allows people to unsubscribe quickly and easily -
make sure it is easy. I have been on too many lists,
that ask you to click on a link, sign into a website
with your username and password, and then jump through
more loops to unsubscribe! Make it easy not difficult
to get off the list!
It's important to use a reliable autoresponder service
for the following reasons:
Double opt in procedures. This makes sure that when a
person signs up they must confirm their subscription -
this goes some way to prove that it was them or a person
with access to their email account that signed up. Many
autoresponder services and programs will also keep a copy
of the IP address (a unique address) that was used to sign
up for the email list.
Bounce Features. A good service will automatically take
not of any emails that bounce. That is any emails that
don't arrive at the address they were meant to go to.
If this happens the software will automatically remove
the email address from your list.
Automatic Unsubscribe. As mentioned above you can opt to
have an automatic unsubscribe link added to your messages
- this is very advisable.
On a side note, when sending out emails ensure they are
well written, with appropriate subject lines. Some
marketers put in inappropriate subject links like
"you've been paid" or, $100 waiting to be claimed -
don't do this. If and when the person opens the emails,
it just causes them to be annoyed and they may feel
like they have been fooled by you

Sending Emails That Get Read In Ten Easy Steps

Emails are more than who, what, when, where, and
why. But if they are not read what's the purpose.
The average business man has 15 emails they
routinely read on a daily basis. How can you
make your one of those 15, buy following some
simple lessons.
1.You need a catchy personalized subject line that
refers to a product or a service. Include a date
or many of the spam blockers will discard it. Then
all your work is lost.
2. Never use capitals, multiple exclamation points.
Don't illustrate with slashes, dots or dashes.
3. No more than six lines or wider than 65 characters.
Especially on your introductory email.
4. Know exactly what you want to accomplish. Is it
going to qualify leads? Or generate further leads?.
5. To make a highly effective email, it should indicate
a new product, service, premium or specially discounted
price. Offers that stimulate a response.
6. Did you think about the type of person receiving the
email? People for ages have been trying to figure out
people and their personalities in an easy and concise
manner, My friend Michael Dlouhy has done personality
colors. This is fully explained in a few other articles. .
For example a yellow personality is a nurturer, who wants
emails that ask about their family before business. Company
information in "flowery" words. The green personality you
always email them first. It should be at least four long
pages of all company information. Needs to be grammatically
and spelled correctly The red personality has their name
in all capitals, it's to the point, with no feeling. The
blue personality will have two short pages loaded with
company information, including a P.S. and PP.S .
7. Keep track of your customer's personal information and
questions. The FAQ's are put on the FAQ page. Please
respond to your customer's concerns quickly and personally.
This creates goodwill, even if their angry, admit your
mistake. Ask them how you can fix it. You are building
loyalty in customers. The more information you collect now,
the better you will serve them in the future.
8. Always put contact information in the email, in an easy
place to find on every email you send out. The same goes
for your website, contact information is your lifeblood.
This is where your customer service page becomes important
to add those FAQ, names, emails, phone numbers of people
who can help. You need to build loyalty.
9. Use emails for sending greetings of birthdays,
anniversaries, and/or other special occasions. Thank
you messages for their business.
10. You can make this a campaign of sending prewritten,
non-personal emails, the customer will see right through
that. Think about what you want on your busy day. How
often do you want to be interrupted by a stranger, verses
someone who is starting to deserve your trust or already
has it
Email is a great tool but don't abuse them. Remember
email is one of the tools to build trust. You have to
have trust before you have sales.
What do you think, how many emails from the same known
person would be considered annoying? How many emails
actually get read by you, from an unknown source? Does
it have a catchy subject line? You be the judge, your
decision can make or break the beginning of a business
relationship.
